“…What happens when you take a handful of writers, add a dollop actors, whisk in a sprinkle of direction;and give them an hour to rehearse before doors open to the public?”
Stitchin’ Fiction is a free non-profit platform for creatives to come together in a workshopping environment. Writers with words stuck in their laptops and notebooks are given a pool of performers, who want to work and stretch their collaborative muscles and skills. You provide the words for the Actors, and collaborate with the Resident Director on the night.
After the event, the venues are open for free networking and socialising opportunities. Here, they encourage the sharing and promotion of upcoming productions and work, and are proud to say many collaborations have been sparked by the events.
