Triumph Theatre’s Halloween 48HR Bake-off

Based on Paula Vogel’s Bake-Off’s, Triumph Theatre is hosting a virtual event to encourage people to stay indoors to prevent the spread of COVID-19 this Halloween while still having fun!

Those who choose to participate will receive five “ingredients” from us that will need to be included in a short play (ten pages max). Participants will have 48 hours to write their plays with the selected ingredients and then submit them to our panel of guest readers who will then choose a select few of these plays to be read during a live-stream on the night of Halloween

Writers’ Timeline:

1.) 5 PM, Friday the 23rd: Sign-Up Deadline.

2.) 5 PM, Friday the 23rd: Receive our selected five “ingredients” via email.

3.) 5 PM, Friday the 23rd to 5 PM, Sunday the 25th: Timeline to write a short play (ten pages max) using our ingredients.

*MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE A CHARACTER DESCRIPTION PAGE SO YOUR PLAY MAY BE CAST ACCURATELY IF IT IS CHOSEN TO BE READ AT OUR LIVE EVENT*

4.) 5 PM, Sunday the 25th: Submissions Deadline

LOCATION: Virtual. No travel is necessary.
