London Playwrights Festival: December 6th-11th at the Lion & Unicorn!

We’re unbelievably excited to announce our first festival, which is coming to the Lion & Unicorn Theatre this December!

The London Playwrights Festival will be a celebration of new writing and will showcase the work of some of the amazing writers we’ve been working with over the last year. As well as play-readings of exciting new work, we’ll be also be running workshops and digital content to run alongside the festival (so if you can’t make it to London, you can still be involved!).

The Festival is part of our partnership with the Lion & Unicorn Theatre where we are an associate company and we’re thrilled to be joining their brilliant Autumn/ Winter 2021 programme.

Dates: 6th- 11th December 2021

Where: Lion & Unicorn Theatre

      Hi Nicole,

We’ve already chosen the work from last years’ submissions and development schemes but there will be other ways to get involved in terms of workshops and events.
      Thanks,
      Kimberley

  1. Hi Everyone
    Hope you’re well.
I submitted one short and one full length play earlier this year but haven’t heard back about it.
I imagine you have a lot of material to read. Just wondering!
    Looking forward to December’s Festival!
    Kind regards
    Elisabetta (Lisa)

      Hi Lisa,

Thanks for your message. We’re still in the process of reading all the scripts and writing feedback. Sorry for the delay in this, we received so many more plays than we expected, which has been very exciting of course. We’re hoping to get an update out in the next few weeks! Thanks, Kimberley

  2. I’m SO looking forward to this extravaganza and I’m travelling down from Scotland and will need help with kennels for my pet haggis.
