Falling Pennies is proud to present its 2nd scratch night ”On The Night”
2After the wonderful sell-out success with our debut On The Night-New Beginnings we are proud to announce that we will be returning to The Arcola Theatre on 19th June 2016″
Do you have a story to tell? Are you looking to hear your words out loud? Is it time to put the pen down and see what an audience think?
What are they looking for? They are looking for writers to submit a 15 minute scene following the theme of second chances.
Go wherever you want! Comedy, Tragedy, Farce, we’re not fancy about style!
They just ask that you keep your characters between 2 and 4 and your scene doesn’t go over 15 minutes
What’s the process? Get your pen (or pencil!) out and start writing! Once you’re happy with your piece email it over to submissions@fallingpennies.co.uk -They’ll send back an acknowledge to let you know your wonderful words are in their hands. They’ll stop accepting submissions on 31st May midday so get writing!Don’t worry about having a director or actors attached; they’ll arrange that for you
On The Night: They’ll kick off at 7.30 pm on Sunday 19th June at The Arcola Theatre. After you’ve seen your words brought to life they will head to the bar for a good old dramatic natter!

Will I be needed for rehearsals; I’m free for the performance but not earlier in the day.
