Places are still available for Advanced Playwriting at City Lit, Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 starting 21 January and running to the end of March. This weekly workshop class is for writers with previous experience (who’ve written at least one full draft of a play) and want a structured environment to help finish or develop a new script. Each one-hour course combines instruction from course leader Brian Mullin (www.brianmullinwrites.com) with individual workshop slots in which students receive feedback from the tutor and peers
The playwriting classes at City Lit have had notable success recently; last year, two out of three shortlisted writers for the Papatango Playwriting Prize were from City Lit courses. Take your New Year’s resolution seriously, join a course at City Lit and help get that script completed!
