Crimson Phoenix script submission window now open for plays and musicals

What is it?

Crimson Phoenix has opened their script submission window for plays and musicals, looking for shows to produce in 2021. They are looking for shows to produce for their 2021 season, and writers will receive agreed royalty rates for production, as well as being appropriately paid for any rewrites required. Crimson Phoenix may also develop artists with voices that they find particularly engaging, even if the script submitted is not right for the current season’s programming.

Scripts should be full length, formatted and have a cover page with title, author and character list. They should be sent as PDF files.

  • Plays should need no more than three actors.
  • They do accept musicals with a link to the music. These should follow the same guidelines as for plays and be scored for a maximum of three instruments. Piano/vocal demos are ideal.
