Crooked Pieces seeking 90-second shorts for podcast ‘And Then She Said a Funny Thing’ (women only)

Crooked Pieces have teamed up with Rachel Stroud and Louise Rickwood to bring you ‘And Then She Said a Funny Thing’. A series of regular podcasts comprising of ninety-second comedy shorts and sketches written by, duh duh duuuuh…..women.

Over the next few weeks they will be tweaking and tweeting as they head towards the launch Pilot. Meanwhile they are keen to hear from funny females that would like to be considered for the contributor group. If you think this might be you, here’s how to get involved…

What to submit:  It can be in any format – sketches, rants, poems, whatever. The only criteria are that each piece is:

  • Comic writing
  • Suitable for audio performance and recording
  • Written by a woman (or women)
  • 90 seconds long or less

How to apply:  Up for it? Send your submissions to funnythingpieces@gmail.com by 4th August. (In some cases you might be asked to make a few tweaks after that, but you’ll be given a week or so to do it).

Find out more on the Crooked Pieces website.  Follow them on Twitter @CrookedPieces #FunnyThing to keep up to date with further news.

Deadline: 4 August 2014
