East End Literary Salon open to rolling submissions

East End Literary Salon accepts rolling submissions! If you have scripts. Or know people who have scripts. This is all the info you need – please share!

There is no theme published in advance – the theme is very much writer-led dictated by the submissions we get each month. Previous themes include mental health, men who hate women and great escapes. Rehearsals take place the day before for 60-90 mins only so if you are seeking an immediate reaction to your text with on the spot dramaturgy then this is the platform for you.

The model they are using for the nights is taking inspiration from the Free Fringe. To keep the Salons accessible, they operate pay what you can at the end of the night into the bucket.

What to submit:  Texts should be 10-20 mins long – extracts are fine, monologues are fine, preferably no more than 3 actors maximum as the stage is very small.

How to apply:  Please send expressions of interest, queries and submissions to Milla on eastendliterarysalon@gmail.com.
