Little Pieces of Gold is seeking submissions for a rehearsed reading series.
The rehearsed reading series is an opportunity for writers to collaborate with Little Pieces of Gold’s directors towards developing their play for the rehearsed reading series at Drayton Arms Theatre on 3 & 4 November 2013, and possibly beyond. The readings will be a platform for the writer, director and performers and will be an ideal opportunity to hear your work in front of an industry audience.
How to enter:
Please send a five page extract and one page synopsis of your already completed play (this is not an opportunity to pitch a play). The synopsis must clearly outline the action of the play. Based upon these they will then ask for the full length play. Plays must run between 40- 50 mins. They’d like contemporary stories and are not accepting historical or period pieces, musicals or plays with music. The initiative is only open to writers living in the UK.
