Play with your Play is back March 26th. The first call out will be for plays, performances, one person shows coming in at less than 45 minutes but more than 30 mins, ideal for fringe theatre. Only three actors maximum. Your play will be cast and played with by directors Amy Housley and Amber Buttery. Amy directed I am Steven Gerrard and Amber of The Dukes, Lancaster, directed the Musical Little Ships. This first session we will be looking for fringe theatre productions that we might want to produce at the studio. Writers must be present at this live event. If your play has legs we will discuss the chance of a performance with you. It is free to enter. Submissions to info@makeitwrite.org in word or PDF only. First deadline midnight 5th March.
Later Play with your Plays:
Full plays around 60-90 minutes, with Elaine Louise Stewart 25th April. Up to about 6 actors.
23rd May with Luke Sookdeo and Molly Farquhar looking at fringe theatre.
