Opportunities – Pick of the Week: Little Pieces of Gold seeks shorts on theme of ‘faith’

Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.

This week’s pick: Little Pieces of Gold seeks shorts on theme of ‘faith’

Description:  Little Pieces of Gold is seeking  plays on the theme of “faith” for their 23 April production at Southwark Playhouse. They are looking for ten minute plays with no more than 4 characters.

What’s so great about it? We think writing to a brief can be great way to find some inspiration and get those creative juices flowing! The brief for this one is to write something on the theme of ‘faith’ for no more than 4 characters; so, specific enough to give you a starting point but broad enough not to limit your imagination. Little Pieces of Gold had gained a solid reputation over the last few years after several successful events and this one gives you the chance to have your work performed at the lovely Southwark Playhouse. If you fancy writing something, you’ve got until 15 March at midnight to email your script in.
