This week’s pick: Make ‘Em Laugh comedy night accepting submissions
Description: MAKE ‘EM LAUGH is a night of new comedy set up by Rebecca Rayne, in partnership with The Etcetera Theatre. A night of 5-10 minute live & screened comedy acts (monologues/stand up/sketches/Improv/filmed sketches/funny shorts) which will take place on ZOOM with an invited audience & EVENTUALLY The Etcetera Theatre.
Why is it so great? Well we all need a laugh at the moment, don’t we? So we thought we’d pick this one out for the comedy writers/ performers out there! You’ve got until 17 February to send your short videos in and we reckon this would be a great lockdown project if you’re looking for something fun to keep you occupied! Selected submissions will be shown at a Zoom event and then the Etcetera theatre so this is a great opportunity to get your work seen.
