Proud Haddock: “Getting your play Accepted by a Theatre” with Guy Jones (online workshop)

If you are a playwright and you would like to know how to get your play successfully accepted by a theatre, then join Proud Haddock’s intimate workshop with Literary Associate at the Orange Tree, and Creative Associate at Headlong, Guy Jones.

In this 90 minute workshop you will learn all the do’s and don’ts on how best to get your play accepted. You will receive valuable advice, have the opportunity to engage with Guy by asking any questions you have, analyse materials and examples and above all, learn how to make the words on the page become a reality.

ABOUT GUY

Guy is a director and a dramaturg. He is currently Literary Associate at the Orange Tree, and Creative Associate at Headlong, where he guides the development and programming of new work. This summer he will direct the world premiere of The Climbers by Carmen Nasr for Theatre by the Lake.

As a director his credits include Either (Hampstead Theatre), Out of Water, Mayfly (Orange Tree), Busking It (HighTide / Shoreditch Town Hall). He has been an Associate Artist of Company Three, and a Staff Director at the National Theatre and the RSC.
