Seamoss Theatre are a new fringe theatre company in the E7/E17 area of East London, focussed on showcasing the weird and the untold. Their second scratch night will be held on Wednesday 6 August 2025 as part of Walthamstow Fringe!
They’re looking for untold stories – LGBTQI+, POC, regional, international, translated, strange, off-limits, and unexpected. We especially encourage the less-seen theatre genres – scifi, weird fiction, poetical, horror, whatever speaks to you!
There are only the typical scratch night constraints – no set more complex than table and chairs, simpler sound/lighting preferred, 10 to 20 minute pieces, and we will showcase between 6 and 8 pieces depending on lengths. We will also give heavy preferences to playwrights who have their actors and director already on board due to our limited resources.
