The 2016 Papatango New Writing Prize is now open for entries.
As well as a four week production at Southwark Playhouse, publication by Nick Hern Books and a royalty of 10% of the gross box office, this year’s winner will also receive a £6000 commission to develop a follow-up play. (A new addition this year!)
What to submit: Writers can submit an unproduced script, of at least 80 minutes’ length. Scripts should be anonymous, with two telephone numbers (still valid in May 2016) on the front page.
Please be sure to read the full literary guidelines before applying.
How to apply: Your anonymous script (formatted as above) should be emailed in Word or PDF formats to scripts@papatango.co.uk.
Deadline: Thursday 31 March 2016 at midnight
