Tell Yours 2018 – A Development Programme for Emerging Storytellers from Migrant Communities

Filotico Arts, in partnership with Counterpoints Arts and Words of Colour, are running a 6-month fully funded development programme for first, second, or third generation migrants interested in becoming a performance storyteller.

They aim to work with those who want to reimagine and perform myths, folklore and fairy tales but also ghost stories, epics, fantasy and sci-fi narratives from around the world with the help of a world-leading storyteller, theatre director and two arts producers.

Led by an acclaimed storyteller from the UK, a theatre director and two producers, this 6-month fully funded development programme gives emerging storytellers the opportunity to hone their storytelling skills through a mix of workshops, discussions, mentoring, and showcasing opportunities.

The tutors involved will be: storyteller Daniel Morden, theatre director Jennifer Tang, and producers Livia Filotico and Melanie Abrahams.
