Talawa seeking New Work Coordinator

Talawa Thatre company is recuiting for a New Work Coordinator.

Talawa is committed to supporting the development of Black emerging and established artists, and in particular we have been championing writers through their twice yearly script reading service, the annual showcase event Talawa Firsts, and through offering residencies and commissions, supported by the Orseis Trust and the John Ellerman Foundation.

The Literary Department has grown in recent years, and has developed a reputation for finding some of the most exciting Black writers from across the country.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about new writing, and interested in supporting the development of Black artists.

Purpose of the role: To provide administrative support to Talawa’s Literary Department and artist development programme, MAKE, ensuring that the departments run smoothly, and that all writers and theatre makers at Talawa are well supported.   See the full job description on the Talawa website.
