Panel discussion on rural touring with Anonymous Is A Woman (£5)

Wandering Women Writers: A panel discussion on Rural Touring as a lifeline for female creativity
Saturday, 10 February 16:30
VAULT Festival, Waterloo

This Saturday, Anonymous Is A Woman will be hosting a panel discussion on the opportunities available to writers in the rural touring network. If you want to be paid to write plays or produce your own work, they believe this is one of the best places to get started.

In a climate where funding is scarce and female work is under represented the guaranteed income of a rural touring date can offer a financial lifeline to artists, yet rural touring is often undervalued. With emerging companies often paid more for a single rural touring date than a week of performances in London the panel of writers, directors and journalists will aim to demystify the sector and interrogate how it may support women artists.

What you pay: £5
