Gloucester Library is programming a mini festival on Wednesday 29th August 2018 for children and families inspired by the 250 years anniversary of the beginning of the circus.
They are looking for expressions of interest from anyone interested in creating mischief at the library; this could be in the form of performance, storytelling, writers, clowning, visual arts etc. Let them know if you have a skill to share or something to offer.
As part of the day they plan to set up mini circus training zones where families can have a go at anything from Diablo, clowning, miming, unicycle, stilts and aerial. They are keen to hear about unique and unusual opportunities for families to get involved.
They are looking for both paid practitioners and volunteers to take part. You could be at the early stages of your career, have ideas to test out or have a tried and tested act.
How to apply: If you are interested please send a brief outline of your practice and / or relevant experience with links to your online portfolio/performances to Katrina: katrina.rosser@gloucestershire.gov.uk
Deadline: 4 June 2018
