They are looking for an experienced writer who has written theatre pieces with LGBTQIA themes to lead a 3 hour master class at Nottingham Playhouse as part of Write Pride, an LGBT writing festival taking place in Nottingham in July 2018.
The master class should give participants techniques and prompts for writing on LGBT themes in the playwriting form including script structure and development ideas.
The writer will also have the opportunity to show an extract from a theatre piece they have written or that they are developing as part of an evening scratch theatre event.
Write Pride will take place in Nottingham during Pride month (July) 2018. The project will include a series of master classes and events exploring and celebrating the work of LGBTQIA writers from 5 writing disciplines: poetry, prose, film, song writing and theatre.
