Join playwright Tamara von Werthern (Best Screenplay at Lift-Off 2019, published with Nick Hern Books & HarperCollins) and director Anna Marsland (National Theatre, RSC, New Vic) in a series of creative writing workshops.
- WRITING IN THE BODY – drawing on physicality to unlock our creativity, this fun workshop will use a series of breathing exercises and physical movement sequences to bypass the censorship within and allow us to put pen to paper and unlock our potential. DATE: 3 December, 12pm – 13.30 Please have paper and pen to hand and wear comfortable clothing.
Tamara von Werthern is an experienced workshop leader, leading writing workshops at Bedales School, Boden College, Hereford College of Arts, QMUL & online with Fizzy Sherbet. She is a playwright published with Nick Hern Books, a screenwriter, poet and contributor to Letters To The Earth (Harper Collins) and 100 Voices (Unbound). She won Best Screenplay at Liftoff Season Awards 2019 & is founder of award-winning theatre podcast Fizzy Sherbet.
