This is a paid opportunity for emerging writers for a 2-3 week run in well known off West End venues at the end of 2018.
Fight or Flight Productions are looking for emerging writers for their 2018 Autumn Season. They are seeking script submissions of between 60-90 minutes, featuring 2-3 characters, that have not been previously performed. Please include a short synopsis and character breakdown.
Ideas they like to play with: Minimal – Dark – Communication (or lack of) – Magical – Relationships – Social Politics – Fairy Tales – Words – Peculiar – Science – Make Believe – Technology – Wallflowers – Uncanny – Outsiders.
Submission details:
- Though they are looking for complete 60-90 minute pieces they are currently accepting ‘work in progress’ scripts.
- The successful applicant will be PAID for their work by receiving a performance rights fee per show – they have set aside a budget for this and payment is negotiable.
- The successful applicant will receive comps throughout the run to invite their own industry contacts and will have their work seen by professional directors/producers/agents etc. invited by the company.
- You don’t need any previous experience. You can enter on your own or as a group, but can only enter once.
