Lady Eleanor Holles and Hampton High Schools are pleased to offer writers with an interest in developing female-driven work for large casts:
- A day of inspiration and discussion with established and emerging writers;
- Opportunities to have work-in-progress performed and workshopped throughout the development process;
- A fully-funded realisation of at least one project, and dissemination of all project concepts to professional producing partners, with a view to further commissions.
Phase 1: A day of workshops and discussions for writers and theatre makers including a keynote session with Morgan Lloyd Malcolm. This takes place on Tuesday 29 January 2019.
Phase 2: Submitted production pitches are reviewed by producers and workshopped by students, then circulated as potential commissions for professional theatres, universities and schools.P
Phase 3: At least one full commission for a fully realised production at LEH in 2019/20, with full ownership retained by the writer.
