Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.
This week’s pick: Angry Bear seeking short plays for charity scratch night at the Royal Court
Description: Angry Bear is seeking short plays for a night of new writing presented at the Royal Court Theatre on the 27th September, in aid of a well-known charity to be announced once submissions close.
What’s so great about it? Angry Bear recently ran a successful scratch night in aid of Young Minds. They are now back and will be supporting a well known charity (to be announced) at their next event at the Royal Court. If you want the chance to support a charity and have your work performed at the Royal Court, what are you waiting for?! They’ll be opening their submissions window on 26th July and closing it once they have received 225 entries, so be quick!
