Write Lines is an opportunity for writers to attend workshops with producer and playwright Lisa Nicoll over the course of four sessions in September & October to create a new 10 minute play or the beginning of a larger piece of work inspired by a favourite book.
This will include a one to one feedback with Lisa about the work and also a chance to have their work read by professional actors.
5 of the pieces written & developed during these sessions will have the opportunity to be performed as part of Book Week Scotland 2019 directed by Allie Winton Butler – Artistic Director of Tidy Carnage and Associate Director of In Motion Theatre Company.
Places are limited to 15 people and are by an application process.
To apply please email info@inmotiontc.co.uk with the book that you would like to use as a stimulus for your play and some information about you and your writing by Thursday 22nd of August 2019 at 12pm. Participants will be notified if they have a space on the workshop by 28th of August. The cost of all sessions is £100 and will be payable on receipt of a place.
