POWERPLAY is the theme for the next evening of short plays at The Questors Theatre, Ealing, London.
Power takes many forms. It’s about gender, class and social status. But it can also be sexual, political or economic.
Some people have power, some people don’t. But the balance of power can shift.
They are looking for 15-minute plays that explore the theme. They must be capable of being staged simply with a minimum of props.
Selected plays will be performed in the theatre. They will supply the actors, a director, and an audience. This is a community theatre so no one involved will be paid.
How to apply: Please visit the website for more information and guidelines on how to submit your script.
Deadline: 31 October 2019

Do you mean Questors will supply the actors director and audience or that the writers should?
The Questors will provide these.
What time of the year are you planning to show them?
Please contact Questors directly for further information.
Thanks,
Kimberley
can a writer enter more than one piece?
Hi, it’s worth contacting the organisers directly with any questions as we only repost these opportunities.
Thanks and best of luck.
May Canadian playwrights submit scripts to The Questor Theatre’s powerplay-themed evening of plays?
Please contact the organisers directly with any questions as we wouldn’t want to give out the wrong info!
Thanks,
Kimberley
Do you only accept 15-min short plays, or do you also accept excerpts from full-length plays?
Please contact the organisers directly with any questions as we wouldn’t want to give out the wrong info!
Thanks,
Kimberley
Not clear whether one should submit a play anonymously or not – the LPW info says not, but Questors New Writing site says do so.
