AboutFACE Theatre hold an annual new writing festival in Dublin each year. Four plays are selected for the rehearsed readings which take place at Smock Alley and the Civic Theatre in November. The festival is open to all Irish residents, and people of Irish descent who are living in the UK, and USA. Writers are asked to submit a full length play (approximately 60 pages +), with only their contact details on the title page, as plays are read blind of names.
Previous NEWvember plays have gone onto to being produced by About FACE, and other companies, both in Ireland and in New York, where the festival originally began.
