Company Three- Associate Artist (Part Time 0.6 FTE)

The Associate Artists work in a team to create, write and direct exceptional work with young people. Company Three give them time to build relationships with members and space to develop plays over the long-term.  They  support them through practice labs – workshops dedicated to exploring co-creation practice, training and mentoring.

This is a 0.6 role, meaning 21 hours a week, usually over three days for an initial fixed term of two years. Whilst this is a part time contract there will be intensive periods where you will be required to work full time to deliver our work around shows and specific projects, you will be paid or given time off in lieu for these additional days and they will be agreed in advance with your line manager. Particularly busy times for Company Three are the Easter and Summer Holidays. Key delivery evenings for us in term time are Mondays and Wednesdays. This is a 24 month contract.

Company Three exists to make space for teenagers to tell their own stories and make their own change. They think young people do this best when they’re working with people who share their backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

At the moment the members of Company Three self-define as Algerian, Bajan, Bangladeshi, Black, Black African, Black Arab, Black British, Black Caribbean, Black Portuguese, British, Caribbean, Chinese, Dominican, English, Ethiopian, Filipino, French, Gambian, German, Greek, Guyanese, Hispanic, Irish, Indian, Jamaican, North African, Nigerian, Mixed Race, Pakistani, Palestinian, Portuguese, Sierra Leonean, Scottish, Spanish, St Lucian, Sudanese, Turkish, White and White British.*

*In the past a disproportionate amount of our artists have come from White British background as a result of this we encourage applications from people who identify with one or many of the other identities above.

Deadline: 9am, Thursday 16 June 2022
