WHAT’S YOUR STORY?
Do you have a story that you’re itching to tell about yourself? Maybe it’s a tale of identity, self-discovery, overcoming adversity or finding a place to call home. Perhaps your story is one of loss, of forgiveness, of passion or adventure. It might be strange, funny, moving or surprising.
The most fiercely personal insights can resonate far beyond ourselves: stories connect us to each other, and today the way we connect with stories is more exciting than ever.
Answer the question, ‘What’s Your Story?’ in 1,000 words or less, written as poetry, as narrative, as a script for any medium: TV, film, audio or stage, or performed in a two-minute video.
There is no fee to enter and your piece could be performed live at the Evening Standard Stories Festival 2022 in London from 22-24 September 2022, amongst other prizes.
Find out about the prizes, read the full terms and conditions and enter your story on the Evening Standard Stories Festival website
Guest judges include Jessica Loveland, Head of New Writing at BBC Writersroom & BBC Drama.
