Guildhall Autumn Short Courses

The Guildhall has several short courses coming up for playwrights:

Writing for Screen (Wednesdays)

This new eight-week in-person evening course will develop your creative writing skills and provide you with inspiration to translate an idea into a screenplay. 

 

Reading Theatre: A Play a Week (Wednesdays)

This six-week online evening course will see you form your very own theatre book club. You will read a different play text each week, in your own time, and each session will give you the opportunity to discuss and explore it with your group, course tutor and industry professionals, including actors, and directors. 

 

Improvisation Level Two (Wednesdays)

Take improvisation to another level in this six-week in-person evening course. 

 

Greek Plays: The Ritual of Theatre (Tuesdays)

Led by Cheek by Jowl Creative Associate, Lucinda Dawkins, this new six-week in-person evening course will take you on a journey from Athens to London as you explore Europe’s first plays and delve into the world of Greek Theatre.
