In celebration of Black History Month, this new play by Ayanna Serwaa will be shown at Chelsea Theatre on 15th October…This theatre piece, seeks to explore human rights and Justice using a very British Sport Rugby. Acting as a catalyst to explore the remnants of colonial rule and the links between colonialism and civil unrest, some of which stole the human rights of innocent children. Four volunteers at a rugby match go on an explorative journey of love, sport and fair play, taking them metaphorically from their home towns to the Ugandan Plains where one of them is propelled to revisit the harsh realities of being taken as a child soldier for the lords rebel army.
