Manhattan Rep’s Play Production Program
Self-Produce your play in New York City from anywhere in the world.
From Manhattan Rep:
“We do all the work to put together a wonderful production of your play in Midtown Manhattan. We have produced over 65 plays from all over the world: Australia, England, Canada, Moscow and the United States.
We help you produce your Full-length plays and your short plays.
We are accepting applications for Full-length plays to be produced in New York City – Fall 2023.
 
And we are accepting applications for Short Plays to be produced in New York City – April 2023.”
For Full-length plays: 
Production costs range from $15,000 to $200,000 +, depending on the “size” of your production, scenic elements, and the number of performances.
For Short plays – (30 minutes or under):
Production costs range from $1500 to $5000 depending upon the play requirements.
How to apply:
If you are serious about producing your play in New York City, please forward
  • An email cover letter with information about you and your work.
  • Your play attached as a .pdf.
  • An attached Synopsis of your play, with the approximate running time, and your set, lighting and costume requirements.
  • The approximate monetary investment you are willing to make to bring your play to life.
Please put “Play Production Program Application” in the subject heading of your email.We will get back to you within 2 weeks if not sooner.
Deadline for application is December 31, 2022 for productions in 2023.
