The Northern Digital Storytelling Festival (NDSF) is a free online collaborative event that celebrates advancements in digital storytelling.
All are welcome, from those already using digital tools to beginners keen to learn. Presentations and panel discussions led by over 30 industry and academic experts will demystify rapidly-evolving technology and provide new immersive spaces for participants to explore in a supportive environment.
Sessions include “Storytelling for Good, Storytelling for Evil,” “Blurred Realities,” and “Interactivity in Digital Storytelling,” amongst a wide variety of others. Sixty speaker sessions and 20 panel discussions will revolve around 20 themes, and all will include a chance to ask your own questions directly to the speakers from the comfort of your own home (or place of choice).
Whether you are a filmmaker or poet, a games dev or content creator, a marketing professional or an educator, you will discover amazing techniques to entertain and engage your audience. The only requirement to join is an internet connection. Events will run live, with audience participation, Q&A and chat; each session will also be recorded and available afterwards on demand.
