We are Carmen Collective, a theatre company making vibrant work in collaborative settings across the UK.
Over the last three years, Carmen Collective have raised nearly a quarter of a million pounds in funding, produced national tours, and performed our work to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim. You can learn more about us on our Twitter and Instagram.
We are getting in touch today to give you a heads-up about our new workshop, Theatre: Making It and Doing It, which will be held at The Hope Theatre Islington on Saturday 23 March from 13:00-18:30.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to:
-Build a sustainable career in theatre
-Obtain funding from Arts Council England
-Turn your creative idea into a viable production
We will equip you with the skills and knowledge to get your production on, make a success of it, and most importantly, pay yourself and others for your work.
This will also be a fantastic way to meet like-minded theatrefolk and build valuable connections.
We’re so excited to be offering this unique opportunity to share our knowledge and experience to empower and inspire fellow artists.
Tickets are £40, and there are limited spaces. You can find out more about the workshop and book your place at this link.
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact Carmen at collectivecarmen@gmail.com
We’d love to see you there!
