Writer Call-Out: Pinocchio at The Old Joint Stock!
The Old Joint Stock Theatre is seeking a talented writer to bring a fresh, exciting adaptation of Pinocchio to life for one of our Christmas show in 2025. This will be a bold, imaginative take on the classic tale, staged in our intimate 80-seat venue, and directed by Emily Susanne Lloyd.
What We’re Looking For:
A script that reimagines Pinocchio
A piece that embraces fringe theatre storytelling—inventive, dynamic, and suited to a small-scale but ambitious production.
Strong roles for a small, versatile cast
A playful and theatrical approach that appeals to both adults and family audiences.
Key Details:
Production will take place at The Old Joint Stock Theatre in December 2025.
The chosen writer will work closely with the OJS team
