CURTAIN UP: THE A CHRONICLES and MoCA CT READY FOR A
SECOND GROUNDBREAKING THEATRICAL EVENT
The Connecticut-based production
company, A Chronicles announces its open submission call for its second
10-minute play festival since the organization launched in 2022. A
Chronicles seeks work for Brief Encounters that will ignite the
stage—whether triumphant, tragic, or comedic—and illuminates the
diversity of experiences surrounding reproductive rights.
Submissions will be accepted May 15, 2025 through July 15, 2025. An
esteemed panel of theatre and cultural professionals will review all submissions, issuing final acceptance
notices on September 7, 2024.
The plays selected will be fully staged at MoCA CT’s performance space in early November, 2025. The
performances will be showcased with MoCA CT’s November opening of an all-women’s art exhibit,
Riveting, that explores the prominent social issues of the day, including reproductive rights.
