Are you craving some company and community when you write? Could you do with some body doubling or accountability? And some decent space to work in away from home or a cramped and pricey coffee shop?
Well, after lots of planning and scheming – Support Playwrights, @michelle_bonnard and the fab team at @sohotheatre have hatched a plan to support playwrights and screenwriters who live / write in East London.
From Monday 23rd February to Wednesday 8th April, the Crosshall bar will be open exclusively for writers to work from 10am – 5pm Monday to Wednesday. The foyer area is already open for the general public but the spacious, super comfy, frankly luxurious Crosshall will be for WRITERS ONLY – to be together and work. Completely free! After this six-week trial period Soho will look to see if it can be something that can be extended and permanent. Also there are discounts on coffee and some shows in the pipeline!
