Submissions for Anthrotalks 2026 are now open!
A pick’n’mix of London’s hottest new performers, Anthrotalks is an evening of poetry, comedy and songs, curated by Anthroplay Theatre. A variety of exceptional artists take to the stage, with each night revolving around a different theme.
The themes and deadlines for this year:
- PASSION | Deadline: 12th March | Performance: 10th April
- PRIDE | Deadline: 7th May | Performance: 5th June
- CHAOS | Deadline: 6th August | Performance: 4th Sep
- DESIRE | Deadline: 8th Oct | Performance: 6th Nov
Please read their guidelines below before submitting:
- please make sure pieces are no longer than 5 minutes
- artists to be available from 5.30pm onwards the day of performance
- be able to travel to Two Brewers, 114 Clapham High St, London SW4 7UJ
- please attach a text copy of your piece + a video of you performing
- if you are submitting more than one piece, please correlate into one document
- please make sure it corresponds to the theme in some way (the more outside the box – the better!)
- artists will receive £5 travel fee
- results will be emailed out after the deadline of each event
