Everything Theatre welcome script submissions for their Podcast Readings series from both established and emerging playwrights.
What they are looking for: 15 – 20 MINUTE scripts that portray modern urban society in all its complexity, both nationally and internationally. Alternatively, they enjoy comic scripts which at the same time tap into the depths of human nature. They hope to do a few historical podcasts, too! First and foremost, they are looking for great writing/storytelling.
Advice from Everything Theatre: The best advice we ever heard for playwrights is to ‘concentrate on the story and the themes will take care of themselves.’
How to apply: email scripts.spotlight@everything-theatre.co.uk with a 1 page cover letter. This should contain a paragraph of your CV as a writer, and a paragraph about the work you are submitting.
