Shakespeare in Italy – Lockdown, Taboo and You

Lockdown, Taboo and You focuses on the theme of mental health and the stigma surrounding it.

You are invited to submit a short 15-minute play (comedy or drama) based on your own experiences of the pandemic. The winning short play will be chosen from four finalists, performed online in rehearsed readings by members of the Shakespeare in Italy company and invited actors on the 11 March.

There is also a £200 prize for the winning short play. There are also several workshops before the deadline offering advice (free or pay what you can afford).
