ArtfulScribe believes it’s important to show children how creative writing takes place in society beyond, as well as within, the school gates. We reach children through mixed-faith and mixed nationality workshops held in public settings as well as by visiting schools, helping children delight in wordplay through language-based games, nurturing a love of literature that can last a lifetime.
Young Writers Assistant Facilitators are engaged on a freelance basis to support the delivery of writing workshops during term-time for age groups 11-14 and 15-18 years. During the tenure of this role it is envisaged that the Assistant Facilitator will work with the Lead Facilitator to guide each group towards clearly defined outcomes at the end of each term. The Assistant Facilitator will ensure an online blog is created, documenting each session as a record of the tenancy, creating a documentary journal that may also be used as online content for the specified client and ArtfulScribe. The Young Writers Assistant Facilitator will also support the development of an evaluation framework and the delivery of an evaluation report at the end of each term to ArtfulScribe.
