In this two-part workshop, join Literary Projects Manager Georgie Bailey in exploring abstract writing for theatre. We’ll dive into examples of abstract writing from history and look at its development over time; with particular focus on how its shaping the contemporary scene. Then, through a series of exercises working solo and collaboratively, we’ll be giving you the tools, confidence and space to write your very own short piece utilising brand new skills which look to bend the rules of playwriting.
