Playwright mentoring with BeFrank Theatre

Six playwrights will get the opportunity to attend two one-on-one feedback sessions – one on their play, the other on their pitching skills.

How do you persuade a theatre company to take on your play? How can you maximise the power of your pitch? Have you sent out a great play, but no-one seems to reply or tell you why they won’t take it on?

BeFrank Theatre Company are giving six IdeasTap members the chance to recieve feedback on their play and their pitching skills. Each member will be invited to attend two consecutive one-on-one sessions, first with BeFrank’s dramaturge Amanda Fromell (40 minutes) and then with artistic director Tommy Lexen (40 minutes). They will discuss the structure of your play, how to pitch it in an interesting way, and how to get the attention from a director.

The judges of this brief are looking for IdeasTap members with motivation, passion, skills, and artistic potential.
