SitcomCircle seeking aspiring TV writers

Hear Me Roar Media, the sponsors of the SitcomCircle Screenwriting Competition UK are inviting emerging TV writers to submit their short scripts/screenplay entries for the opportunity to win one of two places on an intensive two-day ‘Writing for TV’ course. This course takes place in MediaCityUK, Salford on 2nd and 3rd April 2015 and includes two workshops focusing on characterization and dialogue.

The entries will be judged by US Sitcom Writer and TV lecturer Lisa Chernin, who will be delivering the course and workshops. There are no entry fees applicable to this competition and up to three entries per writer may be submitted.

What to submit:  Each submitted scriptwriting entry must be an original work of which you are the author or co-author.  All scripts must contain a brief setting of the scene, elements of dialogue and be no more than three minutes in delivery.

How to apply:  Scripts must be submitted to info@HearMeRoarMedia.com by midnight on Monday 22nd March 2015.
