Make Space Workshops for Aspiring Artists
July – 7 August & 31 August – 11 September (taster session: 6 July). Free
Make Space is designed for aspiring artists (aged 18-24) who wish to expand and explore themselves and their creative abilities through site-responsive contemporary performance-making.
Across four weeks (two in July and two in September) participants will work collaboratively with and from a chosen site, to experiment in the making of their own work.
Make Space 2015 is the third in a series of vocational summer projects run by Artsadmin and artist Nic Green. This year they will begin by considering the idea of ‘perspective’. A word with multiple meanings, the group will work to explore this theme through performance, in relation to site and space.
Make Space is free and open for anyone aged 18 – 24 to apply.
Participants must commit to both two-week blocks and a taster session on 6 July (either morning or afternoon session).
How to apply: If you are interested, please email samtrotman@artsadmin.co.uk with about 200 words on why you would like to take part.
Deadline: 6 July 2015
