CastleKeep Productions seeking 10 minute plays for competition (Ireland, £5 entry fee)

CastleKeep Productions is accepting submissions for their short play competition.

What to submit:

  • Scripts must be 10 minutes in length.
  • Plays should have minimal set and props.
  • Plays must be written for the stage and have no more than 3 characters in total. Monologues are excluded.
  • Plays must be the original work of the submitting writer (which excludes adaptations)
  • All plays should be written in English or Irish.
  • Plays must not have been performed or published. Plays that have received a rehearsed reading as part of their development are acceptable.

Formatting: 

  • Plays must be professionally set out, double spaced, printed on A4 page, single sided in 12pt Arial or similar font and attached by a single staple in the top left hand corner. No binders or other fixings please.
  • The author’s name must not appear on the title page or anywhere within the script.

How to apply:  Online submission can be made at; castlekeepproductions@gmail.com.  The form should be submitted and play(s) attached. Payment will be taken through PayPal.  All submissions must be accompanied by the competition entry fee of €5.

Postal submissions should be made to Antoinette Walsh, Castlekeep   Productions, Bank Studios, Davitt’s Quay, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland.
