Free September writing workshops with Papatango

Papatango are committed to giving new writers the best possible opportunities.  Their programme of playwriting workshops runs every month, completely free of charge to participants. These cover topics including writing exercises, dramaturgy, exploratory writing, story structure, dialogue, and redrafting.

The next workshops will be on Wednesday 9 and Wednesday 23 September 2015, 11am – 1pm, in Bermondsey, London.

These workshops will be led by Sam Potter, Papatango’s Resident Playwright, Channel 4 Playwriting Bursary recipient, and Literary Manager of Headlong. Her first play, Mucky Kid, ran at Theatre503 in 2013 and was OFFIE-nominated. George Turvey and Chris Foxon from Papatango will also be present to help support your writing and practice.

How to apply:  Places are limited, so to apply to join a workshop group, please email scripts@papatango.co.uk with a CV and 200 word letter outlining what difference working with Papatango would make to your writing.

Deadline:  Friday 28 August 2015 at midnight
