The Scottish Book Trust has launched an intriguing project for unpublished writers, aiming to share their secrets and confessions…
The annual campaign welcomes entries in English, Scots or Gaelic and your story can be in a number of styles – prose, play-form, poetry, etc – but mustn’t exceed 1000 words. Your tale should be on the theme of ‘secrets and confessions’ and although this can be interpreted broadly, your story has to be true and be about something that happened to you.
All eligible submissions will be featured online and a selection will be included in a book published later this year. The deadline for submissions is midnight on 22 June, 2016. Please note, terms and conditions apply.
To find out more, including how to enter, visit the Scottish Book Trust’s official site.
