For this month only Theatre503 is inviting writers to submit not a script but a digital response to Screens by Stephen Laughton – a new piece which explores national and sexual identity amongst a group of immigrants in the age of social media.
Writers’ Night is Thursday 11 August at 7.45 and, as ever, you can get one ticket for £5 by quoting the code WRITER online or by phone.
What to submit: This response could be an audio response, a short video filmed on an iphone, a silent film – the only criteria is that the response should be no longer than ten minutes, and writers will have slightly longer – a week – to submit their finished responses.
How to apply: Responses should be sent by email to ‘rap@theatre503.com’. The best pieces will be selected by the literary department and published on 503’s Youtube channel on Monday 22nd August.
