The Script Onscreen: Workshop – How to Read a Film

THE SCRIPT ONSCREEN is a workshop series focusing on the professional filmmaker’s perspective of how story and script develop in a film.

For writers, playwrights, filmmakers, and filmgoers of all levels it will train you how to ‘read’ a film (rather than passively watch it) from a writer- and film director’s perspective, with a focus on the development of the story elements of the script. It enables viewer to better understand how character and plot interact in dramatic storytelling in novel, plays and films.

This enjoyable and interactive group will facilitate a greater understanding of:

  • how to apply this knowledge in personal writing projects
